Cross-Country Skiing
Our flagship and most popular winter activity is cross-country skiing, where for 20 years we have been organizing cross-country skiing courses in both techniques – classic and freestyle (skating technique) – with our licensed and highly experienced ski instructors. The Ski School "Šport in kreativa" organizes various cross-country skiing courses, most often in our hometown of Črna na Koroškem and at Breško Lake in Austria, which is just a short distance from the Austrian border (where, since December 20th, an artificial snow track for all categories of skiers has been prepared). We also organize courses at Rogla, Planica, and Pokljuka. All of our courses are led by former competitive cross-country skiers with current pedagogical education and valid teaching licenses. We offer introductory, intermediate, and advanced courses for both adults and children. We also record all the courses for you and provide a thorough analysis of your skiing technique and everything you have learned with us at the end. We adapt the groups to your prior knowledge and the learning of the specific skiing technique. For the past two years, we have also opened the first official cross-country ski equipment rental in Carinthia, Slovenia, where you can rent equipment for both skiing techniques.
